There's no point hiding it, I am immensely excited. I loved the series, movie number one and for one cannot wait for the sequel. The photos released this week of Carrie and her friends back in action (especially the hilarous 80s costumes!) have just fuelled the sense of anticipation.

Disney Couture launches new range of charms

New for Autumn/Fall 2009 - Disney Couture have launched a charm bracelet range complete with charms for you to love and collect. Following the massive success of Juicy Couture's charms range, Disney Couture have produced their own starter bracelet, complete with a Magic Castle charm.

The gold-plated bracelet features large links onto which you can attach gorgeous Disney-themed charms such as the pumpkin carriage, Tinkerbell, and more. At the moment, only the limited edition fairy tale style box set which includes 5 charms is available to buy. Once these have sold out, they will never be released again - however, next season, a new box set will be launched.

The starter bracelets will be available as a stand-alone item, plus a selection of fun charms, later in the year. If you love Disney Couture jewellery, they are a must-have for your collection!

We love CC Skye and Rihanna's Angel Wing Necklace

Another day, another delivery - this time it was from our fabulous Californian friends at CC Skye! Back in stock are the fabulous black double wrap leather bracelet made popular by Nicole Richie and the similarly gorgeous leather bow bracelet.



However, what we have been waiting for is the silver Swarovski angel wings necklace - sported by Rihanna on many occasions - which has been out of stock at CC Skye for weeks now. These are so sparkly, so gorgeous, in my mind the perfect accessory!

10k run for Cancer Research UK

As well as loving jewellery, I also love running - no actually this is strictly untrue, I tolerate running but love the fact that it's the best form of calorie-burning exercise which in turn allows more capacity for cake-eating. Having foolishly agree to sign up for a 10k run (6.2 miles for those of you who use imperial measurements) for Cancer Research UK in July, the other half and I have been training away to ensure we 1) finish the course without being carted away by an ambulance and more ambitiously 2) complete the course in a respectable sub-1hour time...

It really is a great cause and worth all the aches and pains, sweat, gym kit laundering. The run is on Sunday 27th Sept 2009 at Coombe Abbey, Coventry - not long to go, better get those trainers on...
